Tennessee Geographic Information Council (TNGIC) Board Liaison to the Tennessee State 911 Board

This session will provide a brief overview of the wireless 911 requirements that are driving the implementation of GIS applications in county dispatch centers. State-level partnerships between the Office of Information Resources/GIS and the Emergency Communications Board have also been developed to create mutually beneficial statewide data sets; the goals and status of these efforts will be highlighted.
